At this time of year I often get asked for recommendations for the holiday period. Here’s a few things you may want to pack when getting ready for your holiday.

Take this supplement approx 2 weeks before travelling and during your holiday to help prevent mosquito and midge bites. Take between 300mg and 500mg twice a day.

Ginger Hair

Excellent for those long journeys to calm and prevent nausea and travel sickness. Can be taken raw, stem, capsules or as a sweet.

Probiotics and Prebiotics

A must for travellers to help prevent those upset tummies we often get due to changes in our diets, drinking water. Probiotics provide strains of beneficial bacteria which can destroy or control harmful organisms and improve intestinal function.

Lysine

I suggest taking this product if possible two weeks before and continue taking throughout your holiday to help prevent cold sores. Recovery Remedy – a useful product to keep handy and use if you get anxious before flying or travelling.

Collagen Red Light, Anti-Aging, Therapy Works

Collagen Red Light Therapy

Collagen Red Light Therapy

From our late 20′s onwards, collagen diminishes in our bodies at a rate of about 1.5% a year. Once this process starts, the signs of aging begin. Fine lines, wrinkles and age spots appear. Unexplained aches and pains are often experienced. These symptoms are indicators of a depletion of collagen, elastin and vitamin D in our bodies.

Temporary treatments such as collagen enhanced creams are available, but they only penetrate the top few layers of skin. As we naturally shed skin everyday, we loose the benefit of the cream quite quickly.

Collagen or Red light anti aging therapy, which is also know as Photo Rejuvenation, was developed as a result of research done by NASA and trialed extensively in hospitals in the USA and other countries throughout the world and has been found to help in many areas. These range from helping to kill the bacteria associated with acne to promoting the healing of wounds in children who, as a result of treatment for cancer, developed acute mouth ulcers resulting from the use of chemotherapy and radiation.

JT’s Hair Salon in Barnsley would be a good place to start. The salon uses a specialist haircare range called NIOXIN® and Jayne Taylor explains: “Healthy hair begins with a healthy scalp and the reason for recommending NIOXIN® to our clients is that it treats both!”
